This is a digital watercolor created in Photoshop using my own photo. This is one of my favorite close-up shots of an adult Burrowing Owl. Ever since I first saw these beautiful owls in person, I fell in love! Burrowing Owls live underground in burrows and come out during the day to hunt for food. I have the pleasure of living not too far from several burrows, which are protected by the city.
