A single red boat pops against the shades of blue. This started as a photo of a boat in Chatham on Cape Cod and was enhanced by using layers of textures to create the background and a painterly look to the final piece.

Jayne, This capture is so typical of an early still morning on the Cape. Your use of textures makes it all that more mesmerizing. I'm on the Cape in PTown every year and all during the cold winter I think about scenes like this and can't wait for my next trip back. A definite fav for me and thanks for the memory!
